Sales Support Export with French (m/f/d)
1 week ago0 Applicants
Your customers are located in Antwerp, Copenhagen, Paris, or Vienna. You are based in Lahr, and from there, you will support them: in English, French, German, and if you can, Dutch.
We package jewelry and watches for brands across Europe. In the export team, you will be the first point of contact for our major clients in Belgium and the Netherlands, for all Scandinavian countries, for brands and distributors in France and the UK, as well as for industrial and large customers in Austria. Some need you in English or French, others in German.
In the internal sales team, we are four: two for the German-speaking area, two for export, and you will join the export team. Additionally, there is a colleague who supports jewelers in Belgium and the Netherlands on-site and knows the customers well. You will coordinate closely with her, via phone and email, to ensure that major clients and jewelers are served seamlessly. You will not be traveling: you will reach your customers from the office in Lahr, as there is no field service in export.
French is not an add-on for us, but a requirement: we want to expand the support of our French jeweler customers in the coming years, directly over the phone. When the time comes, you will be right in the middle of it.
**Your Tasks**
- You are the first point of contact for your customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia, for brands and distributors in France and the UK, as well as for industrial and large customers in Austria, via phone and email.
- You support your customers in German, English, and French, and where possible, also in Dutch.
- You work closely with our colleague who supports jewelers in Belgium and the Netherlands on-site, ensuring that major clients and jewelers are served from a single source.
- You accompany orders from inquiry to offer to invoice.
- You clarify questions with production, warehouse, and purchasing.
- You take on your own organizational projects, directly with management.
**What You Bring**
- Important: French at least at level B2, for our customers and partners in France, whose support we want to expand in the coming years.
- English at least at level B2, for contact with customers in Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK.
- German at least at level C1, for our industrial and large customers in Austria, for offers and order confirmations, and for coordination with production, warehouse, and purchasing.
- A commercial training, a degree, a foreign language training, or a career change with these language skills.
- You keep track, even when multiple inquiries come in at the same time.
- You communicate clearly and friendly, both in writing and on the phone.
- Proficient use of MS Office.
**Nice to Have, but Not Required:**
- Dutch for contact with our customers in the Netherlands.
- Spanish as an additional foreign language.
- Experience in export or internal sales.
- Knowledge of customs, delivery conditions (Incoterms), shipping documents, and the specifics of foreign markets; this is handled by our shipping department, but it’s still a plus for you.
- Experience with an ERP system; we work with abas.
- Knowledge from the jewelry, watch, or packaging industry.
**What We Offer You**
- Permanent employment in a family-owned company.
- Two days of home office per month, and more by arrangement, plus flexible working hours.
- Full-time or part-time from 35 hours; we will find a model that fits your life.
- Direct contact with customers in several countries, without travel.
- Own projects with real creative freedom, not just task completion.
- JobRad, fitness studio subsidy, and lunch subsidy.
- Short paths: you speak directly with management, not through three levels.
**How Your Application Works**
- You will hear from us within five working days. We will contact you by phone or email.
- Initial meeting. If it fits from our perspective, we will invite you to an initial conversation, either by phone or directly with us in Lahr.
- Second conversation and introduction day. If the good impression is confirmed, a second conversation usually follows. This typically includes an introduction day: you will see the workplace and meet colleagues before making your decision.
