About the Position

The Kotlin Multiplatform Tooling team focuses on enhancing tools for building multiplatform apps. We develop plugins for IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio, and collaborate on various projects like KDoctor and Kotlin Multiplatform wizard.

Your Responsibilities

• Enhance Android tooling for Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose inside IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio.
• Work on making Android plugins accessible for IntelliJ IDEA.
• Write high-quality code and documentation.
• Engage in code reviews and optimize test automation processes.
• Actively participate in team discussions and planning sessions.

Requirements

• Professional background in developing Android apps.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.
• Proficient communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IDE or tool development is a plus.
