Your Mission

  • Client Consultation: Primary contact for clients regarding retrofit, modernization, and expansion projects – especially in the areas of control systems and mechanics.
  • Acquisition: Proactive approach to existing and new customers about modernization options and technical enhancements.
  • Needs Assessment: Capture, analyze, and document customer requirements, technical conditions, and modernization potentials.
  • Offer Preparation: Create offers including calculation, price determination, supplier inquiries, cost-benefit evaluations and precise recalculations.
  • Coordination: Close coordination with sales, purchasing, and technical departments to achieve technically and economically optimal solutions.
  • Project Management (optional): Take control of retrofit and modernization projects – including schedule, resource, budget, and risk management.

Your Profile

  • Education: Completed technical training or degree, e.g., in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, mechanical engineering or comparable field.
  • Professional Experience: Some years of experience in technical sales, engineering, service, or project management – ideally in intralogistics, plant engineering, or modernization/retrofit projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of plant mechanics, control or automation technology, experience in analyzing customer requirements and creating technical concepts. Knowledge of calculations or proposal preparation is advantageous.
  • Work Style: Analytical, structured, and independent – economically thinking, identifying modernization potentials, and finding solutions even for complex projects.
  • Communication: Confident in client dialogues and strong communication skills; proficient in German (at least B2/C1) and English skills are advantageous.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client support and project management; driver's license required.
