Kardex is one of the world's leading manufacturers of dynamic storage, retrieval, and distribution systems. We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Manager (m/f/d) for service products in the Northeast region of Germany.
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Manager is to offer additional service products and services to existing clients and provide sustainable after-sales support. You will work closely with clients to identify service needs and offer comprehensive solutions.
Your Tasks
- Proactively manage and support existing clients to identify service and after-sales needs directly on-site, develop customer solutions with process analysis incorporating cross-selling and up-selling approaches.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, concepts, and calculations, and conduct negotiations until the sale is closed for our service and after-sales products.
- Maintain and extend business relationships to achieve long-term customer retention goals.
- Implement sales strategy, manage the area, and develop new revenue opportunities.
- Design, manage, and execute marketing activities to increase sales.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and business units to ensure strategy and revenue alignment.
- Maintain customer and sales data in systems, create evaluations and reports.
- Be responsible for handling forecasts for service products and services in the sales area of Northeast Germany.
Your Profile
- Commercial and/or technical degree in industrial engineering or technical business administration, or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in technical consulting and sales, preferably in service or aftersales.
- Negotiation skills with various interlocutors at different hierarchy levels.
- Conceptual and analytical skills.
- Understanding of technical processes/structures across various industries.
- Self-motivation, reliability, teamwork abilities, flexibility, and a high willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel within the sales area.
