Job Description

As part of the DB InfraGO AG in Dresden, Erfurt, Leipzig, Zwickau, or Magdeburg, you will contribute to enhancing the rail infrastructure through expert consulting and strategic risk management.

Tasks

• Provide consultative expertise on control and safety technology and telecommunications for the Southeast region.
• Conduct safety evaluations and risk analyses, integrating them into operational measures.
• Perform analyses of hazardous events and oversee special monitoring activities to ensure operational safety.
• Draft reports for regulatory authorities and collaborate on regional safety programs and training concepts.
• Coordinate with regional partners and railway companies to implement statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or as a Traffic Engineer, or extensive practical experience in related fields.
• Strong knowledge in railway control, safety technology, and telecommunications.
• Experience in safety assessments and risk management procedures.
• Communication skills, with a passion for advising and knowledge sharing.
• Self-directed, goal-oriented with openness to change.
• Medical suitability, assessed during the selection process.
