Job Description

• Procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods, especially metals, for production
• Supplier evaluation and selection, price and terms negotiation
• Monitoring and ensuring material availability in close coordination with production
• Conducting market analyses to optimize purchasing strategy and identify savings potential
• Quality and supplier management, including regular audits and supplier portfolio optimization
• Maintenance of procurement data and documentation in the ERP system
• Collaboration with internal departments such as quality management and production to ensure high product standards

The Successful Applicant

• Completed studies or technical/commercial training with a focus on purchasing, supply chain management or materials management
• Professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally focusing on metal raw materials
• Good knowledge in supplier management and contract negotiations
• Analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and a structured working style
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Excellent German and English skills
