Your Role
We are looking for a Project Manager Implementation of Special Provisions (m/f/d) for a major infrastructure project. This role is mostly remote with bi-weekly up to three in-office days at our project partner's Berlin office and site presence in the Magdeburg area.
Your main objective will be to manage environmental construction supervision in executing special provisions, which includes soil science guidance to ensure approval requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the special provisions of the planning approval, especially mitigation measures
- Managing environmental construction supervisions (soil, hydrogeology, emission protection, environment)
- Contributing to interim reports for authority reporting
- Identifying critical paths and strategies to avoid construction time restrictions
- Regular site visits (every 2 weeks) and participation in construction meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Planning, or similar
- Experience with planning approval processes and line construction/infrastructure projects
- Preferred knowledge in approval law and public regulations
- Preferred experience in species and nature conservation, environmental law, or water protection law
- Experience dealing with authorities and moderations during the planning process is preferred
- Preferred experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience in planning for approval and implementation planning, as well as routing projects
- Excellent German speaking and writing skills
