Position Details

Type: Contract
Compensation: $20–$40/hour
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author realistic music prompts on topics like music theory, composition, genre analysis, lyrical interpretation, performance technique, and music history.
• Review AI-generated responses for theoretical accuracy, stylistic nuance, cultural authenticity, and clarity.
• Create human-authored responses for complex musical analysis or interpretive questions.
• Develop controlled prompt variations to test subtle differences in music aspects such as genre, instrumentation, or historical period.
• Evaluate outputs across different tones, from technical to conversational.
• Identify model failures involving incorrect theory application or genre misclassification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated involvement in music as a hobby or practice.
• Active music discourse participation in one or more languages including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
• Proficiency in music theory terminology and culturally specific musical forms.
• Clear articulation of musical concepts and analysis in the target language.
• Strong written communication and editorial judgment skills.
