You will expand your existing professional profile with the skills to reliably support decision-makers: defining key figures (KPIs), systematically evaluating data sources, visualizing relationships clearly, and providing results as management-relevant reports and dashboards. This will enable you to effectively accompany data-driven decisions in day-to-day business and at the management level – significantly increasing your chances of a strong re-entry. **The training is divided into three practical modules:** **SQL & Microsoft Azure:** Building a data foundation for management decisions (11 weeks) You will learn how data is generated in companies and which structures are crucial for analysis and control (e.g., KPIs, ETL, data quality). With SQL, you will build the competence to check, evaluate, and prepare data cleanly so that it serves as a reliable basis for reports. Data modeling (e.g., star schema) and advanced SQL topics ensure feasibility in everyday life. Additionally, you will gain insights into Azure database services and data warehousing – important for understanding modern data landscapes in companies. **Contents:** - Data in companies, KPIs, ETL, SQL vs. NoSQL, Big Data - SQL basics to advanced (JOINs, data integrity, timestamps, RegEx, JSON, stored procedures) - Data modeling (e.g., star schema), administration & data quality - Azure databases, Cosmos DB, data warehousing & administration - Final project (teamwork & presentation) **Power BI Data Analyst:** Management-relevant dashboards and reports (10 weeks) In this module, you will learn how to prepare analysis results so that they are truly usable in management: clear visuals, reliable key figures, and understandable storylines. You will transform data with Power Query, model it systematically, and develop meaningful measures (e.g., deviations, trends, time comparisons) with DAX. Additionally, you will learn dashboard design, performance optimization, and professional operation in the Power BI Service, including role and rights concepts as well as row-level security. **Contents:** - Power BI basics, data understanding, soft skills - Data import, cleaning, modeling, relations & hierarchies - Visuals, DAX measures, drill-through, advanced analytics & AI - Dashboard design, best practices, paginated reports, performance - Power BI Service: workspaces, administration, roles & rights, RLS - Team final project + exam preparation for Microsoft Power BI **JobReady:** Applying project methods and demonstrating results as a management contribution (8 weeks) At the end, you will transfer the new competencies into a realistic project context: you will learn project management (classical & agile, e.g., Scrum), strengthen your application documents, and implement a practical project in a team with partner companies. This will result in showcase results – such as a dashboard set or an analysis case – that concretely demonstrate your ability to manage a company through data. Additionally, preparation for the IHK exam will take place. **Contents:** - Labor market preparation: application documents & application training - Project management: classical & agile (Scrum) - Practical project with partner companies - Exam preparation (IHK) **Your profile** - Language skills: German B1/B2, basic knowledge of English is an advantage. - Skills: IT affinity, logical thinking ability, motivation to take your career to the next level.
