We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Health Professions Department, spearheading strategic initiatives and representing our interests at intergovernmental levels.

Job Description

The Department of Health Professions is responsible for planning and managing all state-related issues concerning health and nursing professions. This includes overseeing professional regulations, state examination matters, training and further education, and the recognition of foreign qualifications.

Tasks

• Lead and manage the Health Professions Department.
• Enhance the strategic processes of qualification recognition in health professions.
• Represent Schleswig-Holstein in federal and cross-state committees.
• Manage EU-related matters for the department.

Requirements

• Eligibility for the second entry-level position in the career path of General Services.
• Degree in Law with two state examinations, both with at least a "satisfactory" mark, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in relevant fields.
• Leadership experience and competencies.
