Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated Legal Remedies Officers for our Legal Remedies department, specifically for the Domestic and International teams. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all appeal and subsequent legal proceedings against decisions in pensions, participation, and insurance and contribution law. The position in the International team also involves international law aspects.

Join our team to navigate complex legal challenges within the realm of social security and pensions, performing a pivotal role in maintaining fairness and legality in administrative decisions.
Tasks
- Manage appeal and litigation proceedings in pension and insurance law.
- Independently assess contested decisions and gather relevant facts.
- Draft clarification letters, relief notices, and appeal decisions.
- Develop decision proposals and address appeal and litigation issues by reviewing the SGB regulations and related laws.
- Draft legal documents for appeal and litigation cases.
- Engage with European law, social security agreements, and procedures involving foreign insurance carriers.
- Represent in court proceedings before social courts in all legal areas without reservation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Security/Rent Insurance Management, Administrative Sciences, Law, or related fields.
- At least one year of practical experience in social law or administrative law.
- Interest in in-depth engagement with the provisions of SGB I, IV, VI, and X.
- Strong comprehension skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks.
- Independent, structured working style with a readiness to make decisions.
- Excellent cooperative skills.
- Flexibility and assertiveness.
