About the Role

As a member of the legal team, you will advise on and participate in a wide range of legal matters across all departments of Bochum's city administration, representing the city in courts. The focus will be primarily on regulations and public law, with the flexibility to engage in other areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and participate in legal matters for various city departments.
• Represent the city in different courts (administrative, civil, labor, social, and financial).
• Focus on regulation, taxation, and public safety laws.

Requirements

• Completion of a law degree with successful bar examination.
• Experience in public law, especially regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in digital working methods.
