The Sitem/Tempel Steel Group is a global leader in high-precision electrical steel, essential for next-generation technology in vehicles and energy systems. In partnership with Worthington Steel, we are expanding our business and seeking two Key Account Managers in Germany.
Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will be tasked with strengthening our market presence in Europe. This role involves building long-term client relationships and developing strategies to increase revenue in the industrial and transportation sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Analyse market potential and implement strategies to boost sales
- Manage sales, product mix, and pricing based on market analysis
- Create and maintain regional sales forecasts and report to management
- Collaborate with the sales team to create quotes and proposals
- Support marketing in product launches concerning pricing and product positioning
- Assist in contract negotiations and delivery agreements
- Accompany projects to successful production start
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or related qualification
- Several years of experience in sales, ideally in the tech industry
- Experience with motors, generators, or transformers is a plus
- Willingness to travel (~60%)
- Independent, customer-oriented, and structured work style
- Strong motivation and goal-oriented
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in German and English
