Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Junior Java Software Developer to further develop distributed Java applications in collaboration with the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Culture. You will conduct requirements analysis and documentation while providing 3rd-level support to application users and administrators.

Tasks

• Collaborate in the enhancement of distributed Java applications for the educational sector.
• Analyze and document customer requirements.
• Offer support and advice to application users and administrators at the 3rd level of support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Technical expertise in Java and databases (SQL).
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, microservice architectures, REST, JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with identity management systems and protocols such as SAML or OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes and Java 21.
• Excellent proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
