What will you do?

To expand our existing marketing consultancy team in northern Düsseldorf, we are seeking full-time support as soon as possible.

As a Junior Consultant (m/f/d) for Retail, you will be responsible for the development and execution of consulting projects for clients in the consumer goods industry based on our retail panel data.

Your Tasks

  • Autonomous and partially independent management and consulting for our clients in the retail and consumer goods industry.
  • Developing growth strategies and solutions for client problems.
  • Expanding revenue with existing clients and assisting in acquiring new clients.
  • Conceptualizing, preparing, interpreting, and presenting analytical results or methodological questions.
  • Communicating with various client departments from market research to marketing and sales to management.
  • Interfacing with internal departments such as data production, new business, analytics, and technology.

Your Profile

  • As a service-oriented team player, you stand out through enthusiasm and quality awareness. You are willing to take responsibility and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations. You impress with your structured, goal-oriented, and responsible working style.
  • Relevant initial experience through internships, student work, or initial professional experience, e.g., in quantitative market research, marketing analytics, category management, or a similar environment.
  • A completed degree (e.g., in Business, Economics, or Social Sciences), ideally with a focus on Marketing, Market Research, or Sales.
  • Conceptual strength and a strong analytical mindset with a flair for analyzing and interpreting quantitative data.
  • Client-focused work approach and strong communication skills.
  • Very good knowledge of English and German and extensive experience with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
