Detailed Job Description

At UPS Healthcare, particularly within Frigo Trans, you will be the cornerstone in shaping cold chain logistics in Europe. Based near Frankfurt or Düsseldorf/Cologne, you will bridge the gap between our business and IT teams, ensuring efficient implementations of transport technology platforms and maintaining steady operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Transportation Management Systems across European cold chain operations.
• Synchronize business and IT priorities and reflect local needs in regional strategies.
• Coordinate and lead system implementations and upgrades, adhering to budget and timelines.
• Lead and inspire small cross-functional teams for project delivery.
• Supervise vendor performance and maintain strong technology partner relationships.
• Contribute to business planning, budget management, and system enhancements.
• Resolve operational challenges using an analytical mindset.
• Collaborate across teams in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Eastern Europe.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in transport management, preferably in healthcare or cold chain.
• Experience with IT systems and leading cross-functional project teams.
• Demonstrated team management or leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proven project and vendor management experience.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English; German preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
