About the Role
As the leader of our IT Security department, you'll oversee both Security Operations and Governance. You'll guide the team in building and enhancing our IT security measures while collaborating closely with our ISO and internal IT departments. Your role will involve strategic management of security components and processes.
Responsibilities
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the IT Security division, including team development.
- Collaboration with internal IT departments and the Information Security Officer.
- Management and evolution of security operations, including support and consultancy for projects.
- Development of security governance covering standards, policies, risk management, and reporting.
- Enhancement of IT BCM covering emergency prep, recovery plans, and testing.
- Ensuring effective incident response and vulnerability management processes.
Requirements
- IT-related degree or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in IT/information security (operations and/or governance).
- Leadership experience with a focus on development and building structures.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, architectures, and security technologies like SIEM/EDR.
- Structured, solution-oriented work style with clear communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken German, with good English proficiency.
