About the Position

As a part of DB InfraGO AG, you will undergo a tailored internal qualification program designed to equip you with the expertise needed for the role of a Signal Technician. The training helps you develop comprehensive knowledge in signal engineering. The job is located in various locations including Berlin, Bernau near Berlin, Oranienburg, or Potsdam.

Key Tasks

• Responsible for the repair and installation of different systems in the signaling technology field, such as signals, switches, and signal boxes.
• Use modern measuring devices to assess system conditions and handle technical documentation.
• Work predominantly in teams within your regional area.
• Commence and conclude your daily tasks at your central support point.
• Participate in regular training and ongoing learning as part of our internal qualification program.

Requirements

• Completed training in electrical or mechanical fields, such as electrician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or other skilled trades like carpenter.
• Comfortable working outdoors, as many installations are on the tracks.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call duties after comprehensive training.
• Eager to learn new skills with a structured and reliable work approach.
• A valid Class B driver's license is required.
