Based in the vibrant Rhine-Main area, our company is renowned for market-leading brands such as Caparol and Alpina. We invite a communications expert to join our team and contribute significantly to our PR strategies and external communications.

In this home office-enabled role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working remotely for up to 9 days a month within Germany, promoting a balance between work and life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PR strategies for our brands and services, with a strong focus on B2B communication.
  • Forge and maintain solid relationships with trade journalists and media outlets across Germany and Europe.
  • Craft press releases, articles, and speeches to engagingly inform our audiences including craftsmen, trade, architects, residential property managers, and private customers.
  • Collaborate closely with group marketing, regional teams, and other departments to integrate their projects into your communication strategies.
  • Lead the development and optimization of the DAW website to enhance our online presence.
  • Evaluate and create new, audience-specific formats to increase the reach and impact of our media relations.

Requirements

  • Degree in communication, journalism, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in international media relations, preferably within the construction industry sector.
  • Proven experience in spokesperson roles and proficiency in handling media requests.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and an open, empathetic personality.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
