Position Overview

Position: Food and Drink Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20–$40/hour
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author realistic food and drink prompts for recipe development, technique explanation, and regional cuisine analysis.
• Review and revise AI-generated responses for culinary accuracy and cultural authenticity.
• Write high-quality human-authored responses for nuanced cooking scenarios and culturally specific dishes.
• Create controlled prompt variations to test differences in ingredients, equipment, and dietary needs.
• Evaluate outputs across different tones and instruction constraints.
• Identify model failure cases involving incorrect techniques and culturally inaccurate representations.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of sustained engagement with food and drink as a hobby or practice.
• Active participation in culinary discourse in languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
• Strong familiarity with regional cuisines and traditional techniques.
• Ability to explain cooking processes and flavor profiles in the target language.
• Strong written communication skills.
