Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany, responsible for the installation, testing, training, and repair of automation equipment and systems onsite at customer locations.
Job Description
The Field Service Technician will work within the jurisdiction of the BLM Group, ensuring high product quality, service effectiveness, and continuous improvement. This position requires travel and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
Tasks
- Maintain high quality of BLM Group products installed at customer sites.
- Ensure service effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct technical support activities post-sale, focusing on installations, testing, and training both on customer premises and at our office.
- Execute repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and extraordinary maintenance tasks.
- Conduct training on BLM Group products, primarily at customer locations.
- Optimize spare parts management through communication with customer support.
- Monitor and improve the service's effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation.
- Willingness to develop technological skills and solve technological and manufacturing issues.
- 100% travel readiness.
- Fluency in German, English, or Italian.
- Willing to travel to Italy for training and product updates.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in PC use.
