Responsibilities

  • Advise P&C Business Partners on individual and collective labor law issues and verify current legislation, jurisprudence, and collective agreements.
  • Support the implementation of these directives within TKMS group companies and contribute to the design, harmonization, and further development of collective agreements.
  • Handle individual and collective labor law queries, participate in court proceedings, and craft practical action recommendations.
  • Represent TKMS in discussions with authorities, attorneys, and third parties to constructively resolve legal disputes.
  • Prepare negotiations with employee representatives, especially during restructuring, organizational projects, and other change processes.
  • Collaborate with works councils and committees and support the conception and execution of training sessions for leaders and P&C partners on labor law topics.
  • Lead special projects like due diligence, risk assessments, and contribute expertise to the People & Culture governance to identify, minimize, and manage employment law risks.

Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with completed exams, focusing on labor law, supplemented by initial relevant work experience.
  • Practical experience in a corporate legal department or a labor law-focused law firm.
  • Ability to independently consult clients on complex labor law issues.
  • Support in developing and implementing personnel strategies based on sound labor law knowledge.
  • A keen sense of organizational issues, ensuring legal compliance in structural changes.
  • Experience in collaboration with works councils, staff councils, or similar co-determination bodies.
  • Confident demeanor, clear communication skills, and the ability to convey legal solutions practically.
