AFS Intercultural Encounters e.V. is a non-profit organization for youth exchange and intercultural learning. AFS Germany currently enables over 1,300 young people from and in 40 partner countries to have intercultural learning experiences. About 1,500 volunteers are engaged with AFS Germany, organized in around 80 local committees. We operate offices in Hamburg and Cologne with over 90 full-time employees. In addition to the student exchange and host family program, AFS offers participation in holiday programs and volunteer services in the social, cultural, and ecological sectors as well as intercultural training measures. We are looking to complement our team starting in November 2026 in Hamburg. Volunteer Coordination Northern Germany (m/f/d) Part-time 30 hrs. Voluntary engagement is fundamental to AFS's work. Recruiting, preparing, and accompanying volunteers for the diverse tasks of AFS program work is therefore at the center of your activities. The full-time team of volunteer coordination inspires people to engage with AFS, supports volunteers in their work, and creates learning opportunities for them.
