Job Description

We are seeking a Document Manager to join our team in Berlin, Germany. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Tasks

  • Implementing customer requirements into document sets (e.g., manuals, parts catalogs) considering contractual requirements.
  • Coordinating document exchanges across departments using IT tools when applicable.
  • Ensuring compliance with required norms and guidelines.
  • Creating content, illustrations, and animations for operations documentation.
  • Supporting project managers with document management and norm compliance.
  • Managing and documenting requirements using a requirements management system.
  • Budget planning and adherence within document management.
  • Reviewing and approving documentation from suppliers and other departments for relevance and version control.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar fields. Alternatively, a completed degree in Technical Editing.
  • Several years of experience in creating technical documentation, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Proficiency with editorial systems like Schema ST4 and common tools (e.g., Adobe, MS Office).
  • Desirable: Experience with CAD systems such as Catia V5 and Teamcenter.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and coordinate with other departments.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
