Job Description

  • Manage the development of restraint system components within development cycles.
  • Contribute to the creation of specifications in compliance with the latest internal requirements, laws, and regulations.
  • Participate in the tendering of components.
  • Ensure technical control of suppliers and manage communication within your scope.
  • Oversee parts procurement.
  • Manage testing from requirements through to evaluation.
  • Create, maintain, and execute testing specifications and coordinate external engineering service providers.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Systems, IT, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification required.
  • Relevant experience in airbag systems, preferably side or window airbags (A-D pillar).
  • Knowledge of E/E components is advantageous.
  • Experience in the testing, commissioning, and securing of electronic vehicle systems and components is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant E/E measurement, analysis, and documentation tools (CANoe, Monaco, STARC, EPDM, DOORS) is desirable.
