We are looking for a motivated Department Head of Business Affairs to join us at the earliest possible date, offering an unlimited contract.
Salary is based on pay group E 12 TVöD-V or, for existing civil servant relationships, A 13 1. Entry Level LBesG NRW.
Tasks - What to Expect
- Leadership – Manage the department, overlook personnel responsibilities, and guide both the strategic and operational direction.
- Strategic Planning – Organize the focus areas for team inspections and guide both external investigations and internal administrative procedures.
- Conflict Resolution – Engage in complex cases and strive for solutions that are satisfactory to both the administration and the citizens involved.
- Concept Development – Continuously improve work processes and frameworks through conceptual and structural guidelines.
- Community Collaboration – Work with the police and customs under the communal safety partnership banner.
- Communication & Cooperation – Maintain cooperative relationships with other departments and authorities, representing the department in all relevant arenas.
Profile - What You Bring
- Qualification for the second entry level in non-technical administration or a completed administrative course II. Alternatively,
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus on administrative, legal, or economic sciences as well as related educational content, plus a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience or two years in public administration roles.
