Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to continuously develop our AWS-based data platform, automate ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate closely with our team to optimize data and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS-based data pipelines using services like S3, Redshift, and Apache Airflow.
• Automate data processes and ensure reliable delivery for analytics and business intelligence.
• Evaluate and integrate modern AI-supported tools for data analysis and quality checks.
• Work closely with your team and various departments to enhance data flows and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years' experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services for data processing.
• Experience with data pipeline development and workflow orchestration, ideally with Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with transformation tools like dbt is a plus.
• German proficiency at least C1 level and good English skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, eager to learn new technologies.
• Commitment to developing sustainable solutions.
