About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team at our Hannover location in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our data-driven decision-making processes within the logistics department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and optimize Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with the central Data Team, you will be involved in the entire data lifecycle—from data collection to delivering insights that impact strategic and operational decisions. Your analyses will directly influence our logistics strategies, helping us to improve service reliability, optimize delivery routes, and support the ongoing digital transformation of our logistics operations. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of professional experience in a data-centric role within the digital or logistics sector. You should possess a strong passion for data analysis and business intelligence, with expertise in digital analytics tools and methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is essential, along with foundational programming skills in SQL and ideally Python. Experience working with BigQuery and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform are highly advantageous. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, be goal-oriented, and possess a high degree of initiative and independence. A background in logistics or supply chain management is a plus, but not mandatory, provided you have a solid understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to the needs of the logistics department, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with the central Data Team to shape the data landscape, from data collection to insight generation, fostering a cohesive data culture.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvements within logistics processes.
• Prepare and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Develop new data products and tools that facilitate better understanding and management of logistics operations.
• Participate in the ongoing digital transformation initiatives, ensuring data solutions align with future business needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all projects and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in data analytics, visualization, and cloud technologies to continuously improve our data capabilities.
