Your tasks with us
- Support the IT service management of the North Rhine-Westphalia financial administration in business continuity management and ensure the safe handling of citizens' tax data.
- Work in a team of dedicated experts reporting directly to the financial administration data center management.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, recovery, and crisis capabilities are effectively implemented, not just conceptualized.
- Collaborate closely with process owners and implement business continuity management process guidelines while regularly exchanging with the Information Security Management and data protection officers.
- Advise the IT departments in emergency preparedness matters and assist in identifying critical business processes with departments and assessing their emergency relevance. Participate in the planning, conception, execution, and evaluation of tests and emergency exercises to continuously improve resilience and reliability.
Your Qualifications
You hold a degree in Information Technology or a comparable IT-related field. Even without a university degree, relevant professional experience and skills are considered.
Further necessary prerequisites
- Several years of experience in business continuity management, IT emergency preparedness, or a related field.
- Knowledge of IT service management principles according to ITIL.
- Familiarity with the relevant standards of the Federal Office for Information Security.
- Willingness to undergo security clearance according to the Security Clearance Act.
Additional advantageous qualifications:
- Experience in crisis, emergency, or business continuity management in a data center or a strong interest in developing in these areas.
Apart from your technical expertise, you possess excellent German language skills and enjoy teamwork, actively participating in developing solutions and innovations.
