Job Summary

The Channel Business team is integral to our sales, focused on building relationships with partners including resellers, distributors, and managed service providers. We aim to grow revenue and market reach by equipping our partners to succeed with Palo Alto Networks.

Tasks

  • Establish a deal pipeline and manage revenue outcomes with VARs.
  • Create and implement business plans with Account Directors to maximize partnership growth.
  • Work within a team to ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop value propositions to engage strategic VARs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to innovate new solutions and drive market differentiation.
  • Maintain open communication and build strong partnerships with regional partners.
  • Lead business performance and relationship reviews with senior management.
  • Track performance with activity reports and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Experience in Channel or Account Management within enterprise software or network security.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Understanding of the German VAR landscape and "Mittelstand" vs. Enterprise behaviors.
  • Knowledge of VAR and System Integrator models.
  • Expertise in sales, marketing, and solution development.
  • Strong initiative and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership in complex sales negotiations.
