Become a part of EDEKA's private label world, playing a pivotal role in shaping our diverse staple foods and canned goods offerings. You'll be integral in ensuring our market assortment remains plentiful and varied.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and develop our private label products.
• Oversee product creation from conception to market launch.
• Collaborate with international suppliers and quality assurance teams on product development.
• Negotiate terms, including prices and delivery conditions.
• Collaborate on packaging designs with marketing.
• Enhance and expand our product range.
• Analyze inventory, market, and competition; formulate new strategies.
• Present product and negotiation outcomes to EDEKA regional societies and Netto Marken-Discount.

Your Profile

• Degree in business or related qualification.
• Several years of purchasing experience, preferably in FMCG.
• International procurement experience, focused on Italy, is advantageous.
• Strong numerical skills; innovation-driven and detail-oriented.
• Assertive, structured with a dynamic working approach.
• Proficient in German and English (C1 level), basic Italian a plus.
• Expert in MS Office, especially Excel.
