Company Overview

Let us embark on new paths together! That is precisely what we do at R+V, one of Germany's largest insurers.

Welcome to the Department of Investment Management and International. We specialize in the strategic control and management of R+V's investments. This involves analyzing international investment opportunities, optimizing the portfolio, and ensuring a risk-conscious investment strategy aligned with corporate goals and legal requirements. You will find a dynamic environment, a diverse range of tasks, and a strong team spirit.

Job Description

  • As part of the Classic Financial Products group, you will act as an internal consultant and sparring partner for questions related to investment management.
  • You will design and optimize our processing and management processes: from process design to the implementation of new workflows and the conception and testing of tailored technical solutions. You will support the team in current tasks.
  • Ensure high data quality and ensure that regulatory requirements are met efficiently and audit-proof.
  • Prepare complex issues appropriately to create a robust basis for management decisions.
  • As a central contact person, you coordinate collaboration with internal and external interfaces (e.g., IT, risk management, accounting, auditors) and represent the interests of investment management in cross-departmental projects and committees.

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious individual with the following profile:

  • A completed Master's degree in economics, mathematics, or physics, or a comparable degree, complemented by relevant work experience in the financial sector or an auditing firm – ideally in the investment environment.
  • A strong solution-oriented mindset, with which you analyze complex tasks systematically and lead them to viable results.
  • Confident handling of agile working methods and modern project management techniques. You routinely use AI solutions to evaluate information, optimize processes, and prepare decisions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting is part of your professional self-image.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, coupled with high accuracy and the ambition to provide qualitative and high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and team skills, organizational talent, and a confident appearance – even in cross-departmental and demanding stakeholder constellations.
