About the Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our innovative IT team at KIND GmbH & Co. KG. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our digital infrastructure by developing and maintaining microservices within our cloud-based environment. Your primary focus will be on designing scalable, efficient backend solutions that support our customer-facing applications and internal systems. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of modern technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Message Queues, and CosmosDB, among others. The role offers flexibility in choosing projects and teams, allowing you to contribute to diverse initiatives that drive the company’s technological advancement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices within our Azure cloud environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review sessions.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our cloud infrastructure and development processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing support to other team members as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative enhancements.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in agile software development and academic qualifications such as a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical skills and methodical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills in German at a minimum of C1 level.
• Experience in backend development and familiarity with cloud architectures and microservices.
