We are currently offering several permanent positions for:

Architect / Construction Engineer (m/f/d) Building Construction

From building maintenance to renovation and new construction projects, the Federal Building sector offers exciting opportunities in both structural and civil engineering, allowing involvement in all service phases. We are seeking reinforcement for our new construction, renovation, and modernization projects for our diverse federal clients, such as the Federal Statistical Office or properties of the US Visiting Forces in Wiesbaden.

The position is based at the West branch located in Wiesbaden.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently managing tasks within the project team
  • Providing technical services in the area of internal and external planning
  • Supervising and managing architectural/engineering offices
  • Performing building owner services
  • Complying with public procurement and contract law as well as quality, schedule, and cost frameworks
  • Coordinating planning and execution services
  • Acceptance, billing, and handover of construction services
  • Negotiating and communicating with all project stakeholders (technical supervision, users, third parties)

Our Requirements

  • Completed university degree (FH-Diploma/Bachelor) in architecture/structural engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in HOAI service phases, including planning and construction management
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as VOB, various HOAI service phases, and experience in planning and construction management; knowledge in public procurement and contract law is desirable
  • Organizational skills, self-reliance, service orientation, and strong team spirit
  • Proficiency in MS Office, an AVA, and a CAD program
  • Excellent proficiency in German, both spoken and written, and the ability to work on construction sites
  • Driver's license class B and willingness for occasional business trips (company car) within the jurisdiction of the branch
