Job Summary
We are searching for a committed Administrative Specialist to join our financial accounting team. As part of the City of Wuppertal's senior care facilities, you will be integral to maintaining our accounting efficiency.
Detailed Job Description
The role supports the financial operations of our elderly care homes, with 620 resident beds across six facilities. We offer a flexible work environment suitable for mobile working.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, process, and book creditor business transactions
- Manage debtor transactions
- Maintain master data
- Clarify accounts and perform general ledger postings
- Engage in asset accounting and participate in monthly closures and payment processing
Requirements
- Qualification for the intermediate civil service, training as an administrative specialist, or similar completed three-year commercial training
- At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping (preferably with SAP)
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to a team environment
