Delete your Remojii account

This page explains how to delete your Remojii account and the data associated with it, for the Remojii mobile app and the Remojii website (remojii.com).

How to delete your account

1. Log in to your Remojii account on this website. You have to be logged in so we know the account is yours.
2. Open this page again (remojii.com/account-deletion, also linked in the site footer).
3. Confirm with your password (or with your email address if you sign in with Google or Facebook) and press Delete my account permanently.

Data that is deleted

• Account details: name, email address, password and linked social login (Google, Facebook, etc.)
• Profile: summary, personal and contact details, work experience, education, certifications and languages
• Uploaded files: profile picture and CV documents
• Activity: job applications, saved and compared jobs, test results
• Notification settings and push notification device tokens

Data that is kept, and for how long

• Chat history with recruiters and companies. The messages stay available to the other party, but your name is replaced with “Deleted user” and the messages are no longer linked to your profile.
• Encrypted backups that still contain your data are overwritten automatically, and are removed no later than 30 days after the deletion.
• Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
• Information we are legally required to keep (for example for accounting or to handle legal claims), only for as long as the law requires.

Good to know

• Deleting your account is permanent. We cannot restore it or its data afterwards.
• If you only want to remove some information (for example your CV or profile picture), you can do that in your profile settings without deleting the whole account.
